I’ve worked in accountancy for nearly 12 years, starting at 16 helping in my grandfather’s practice. His 46 years in the profession taught me the value of hard work and attention to detail.

Now a licensed accountant with the Association of Accounting Technicians, I launched Alfred Tripp Accountancy Services in 2024 to support Hampshire businesses, from startups to established companies, who want to stay on top of their finances without the tax stress.

I’m proud to work alongside my grandfather at David Tripp & Co, bringing clients expert and efficient service tailored to their needs.

Outside of work, I like to stay active and creative. I enjoy weightlifting — my personal best is 180kg for 4 reps on squats, and I’m chasing 200kg (slowly but surely). I also play piano. My favourite piece is Moonlight Sonata (1st Movement), and I’m currently battling my way through Clair de Lune by Debussy.

I’m a big Formula 1 fan. I support McLaren and would love to see Lando Norris finally grab that championship. That said… I can’t deny Max Verstappen is ridiculous behind the wheel. You don’t have to like Red Bull to enjoy the show.
